Mission Statement
The mission of South Point Baptist Church is to share together as a growing, caring, redemptive fellowship of God’s people, acknowledging Christ as our Lord, the Bible as our authority, the Holy Spirit as our Guide, committed to glorifying God and serving people by:
Uniting together in the worship of God through prayer, praise, proclamation and celebration. (Ephesians 5:18-20; Psalm 66:1-4; Psalm 99:9; Romans 10:14-17; Philippians 4:6; Hebrews 10:23-25),
Growing together in fellowship, service and spiritual maturity through Bible study, training, mutual nurture and support, and the development and utilization of our God-given gifts (Galatians 6:10; Ephesians 4:11-16; 2 Peter 3:18),
Ministering together in the name of Christ to the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of our congregation and the community through voluntary involvement in compassionate actions which reflect the love of Christ for all persons (Luke 4:18-19; Matthew 25:34-40; 1 Corinthians 13:13; 1 John 4:7-12), and
Sharing together in evangelistic outreach to our community and the world through our witness and our support for missions (Matthew 4:19; Matthew 28:18-20; acts 1:8).
